Tata H2X Micro SUV: A car that can hit Maruti Ignis looks like this

he most expensive of the 5 trains offered by Tata in the Geneva Motor Show was the H2X Concept micro SUV. It will be launched by mid-2020 and will compete with the markets like Maruti Suzuki Ignis and Mahindra KUV100. The official name of the H2X Concept will be found around the launch date, but it is named Hornbill within the company. According to Tata, the design of the H2X concept is largely driven by the H5X Concept. Below is a render that shows how H2X Concept can look in its production form.

This render has also been made by CarToq's render artist Vipin Vathoopan. In it all the design elements of the concept have been retained, it has been given a little common look. More smoother lines have been replaced in place of its offensive lines but its Butch stance has been retained.

The H2X render looks much bigger because its design is more square, its front views are quite small, and its ground clearance is also quite high. Instead of the next three-arrows design, the headlights with common function have been installed, but instead of the finest wheels of the concept, it has a common alloy wheels.

n this, the Bash plate has been retained in the same silver color, but little work has been done to give it a common look. Its wing mirrors and shoulder lines have also been redesigned. This H2X render seems largely inspired by Harrier.

That's because Tata has made the design of H2X Concept based on the H5X Concept and Harrier is the production form of this. According to Tata, the production of H2X Concept will be the highest place in the class.

The H2X concept is based on Tata's new ALFA (Agile Light Flexible Advance) platform, the company is designing it on its IMPACT 2.0 design philosophy. The production spec H2X micro SUV may have a 1.2-liter petrol engine. This engine will be sold with both manual and automatic transmission options.

ut, Tata has not yet submitted any official information about its powertrain. But the company has told the body dimensions of the H2X Concept. It is 3840 mm long, 1822 mm wide, and 1635 mm high. Also its wheelbase is 2450 mm.

According to Tata, Hornbill Micro SUV has been built with urban customers who want a practical, comfortable but skillful car. Although this will only be the FWD (Front Wheel Drive) carriage, the H2X production version will be great for urban roads.

There will be a lot of features and it can be like the dashboard and the interior Harrier and Altroz. The launch of the H2X micro SUV can be done by mid 2020 but there may be a slight delay in it.
