Kia Seltos will be launched in India this year. This Korean brand has also officially introduced the car in India. Although Kia has not yet been told about the power figures of these engines, the same engines are found in many KIA models in international market. If you see the power of these engine options, Kia Seltos can be the most powerful car in its segment. Kia Seltos will compete directly in the market with Hyundai Creta, Nissan Kicks, Renault Captur and Tata Harrier. Seltos's top models will also compete in trains like Jeep Compass.
Kia Seltos will be lowered with a 1.5-liter petrol engine and a 1.5-liter diesel engine, along with a high-performance 1.4-liter turbocharged petrol engine model. At the time of launch in India, all three engines will follow BS6. The 1.5-liter petrol engine will generate a maximum of 115 bhp power, the Kia Seltos diesel engine will produce more torque than Hyundai Creta's 1.6-liter diesel engine. Most of these three powerful engines will have a 1.4-liter turbocharged petrol engine, which will output more than 140 bhp.
The 1.4-liter petrol engine will only be available with the Kia Seltos GT line. This will be a high-performance SUV and will be brought in the segment for the first time. The SUV is expected to have bumper splitter and side skirts with an aggressive body kit. At the same time, the GT Line version's interior will not be different and they will get contrast color accent and contrast stitching on the seats. This will be the most expensive trim and will also have pedal shifter to control the dual-clutch automatic transmission.
Kia Seltos will offer several first-in-segments features in the market which will make it quite attractive. Outside the car, there will be a sleek LED headlamps which will have LED turn indicators. Their size is extremely rugged and they are just below the headlamps. The Kia Seltos will be a 5-seater train. For the first time in Seeltos, the Bose's 8-speaker system will also be available and the interior of this car will be attached to Ambient Light. Other features will include features connected to the connected car.
